European-American University Convocations 2011
Following
the success of the 2010 EAU Convocation in Ghana, 2011 saw EAU expand this event with two All-Africa
Convocations.
On 20 August, the first Convocation took place at the University of Ghana, City Campus Bediaku Teachers' Hall in Accra. The second Convocation took place at the Confederation Nationale des Travailleurs De Togo Lome in Togo on 12 November.
Before capacity audiences, graduates received their degrees and celebrated their achievements. Recipients of honorary degrees included members of Royal and chiefly houses, leading figures in government and senior businesspeople. Chair of proceedings at both Convocations was Professor Williams A.O. Egbuta, EAU Head of All-Africa Operations. Addresses by EAU's President were presented reviewing the achievements of the past year.
We congratulate all participants, and look forward to meeting again in 2012.
