Professor D.O. Bamgbose holds a Higher National Diploma in Electrical & Electronic from the Polytechnics, Ibadan, Bachelor Degree in Theology (B.Th.) from the Christian Theology Seminary, Ibadan, Post Graduate Diploma in Education (P.G.D.E.) from the University of Calabar, Master in Religious Studies (M.R.E) from the Christian Theology Seminary, Ibadan, Master in Educational Administration (M.Ed) from the University of Calabar and Doctorate Degree in Theology (D.D.) from Indiana Christian University.

His working experience includes posts as Supervisor/Teacher, Alpha Education Center, Ibadan, Subject & Class Teacher, St. Margaret School Oke-Oye Ilara, Director of Studies, Christian Theological Seminary, Ibadan in Affiliation with Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State Coordinator, Osun State College of Education, Ilesa, Provost, Yewa Central College of Education, Abeokuta, Proprietor, Peace Group of School Ayetoro Road Abeokuta and Ogun State Coordinator, Obafemi Awolowo University, Abeokuta Center, Ogun State
