Arnold Harris Mathew Center for the Study of the Independent Sacramental Movement
Modern Gnosticism
Today there are many independent churches, communities, orders and related groups that either self-identify as Gnostic or for whom Gnosticism is an important strand in their spiritual understanding and practice. Most are sacramental in nature and stand in the Apostolic Succession, but this is not the case for all.
Gnosticism is an essential aspect of the modern independent sacramental movement and as such many groups have written extensively in explanation of issues in its history and theology. We provide a listing of a few helpful websites below for those who are starting to explore this approach to faith. We could have listed many more.
Resources:
>>Ecclesia Gnostica (+Stephen Hoeller)
>>Church of Gnosis (+Rosamonde Miller)
>>Universal Gnostic Fellowship (+John F. Gilbert)
>>Christian Gnostic Fellowship (+Lee Peterson)
>>The Home Temple (+Lewis Keizer)
