Dr Peter Litman

Formerly (2004-2006) Peter was Conducting Pedagogue at Roehampton University for the MA Choral Education Course. He is currently reading for a PhD with Dr Colin Durrant in Choral Education and has published papers on Choral Conducting and the dynamic interaction between choir and conductor. Peter is also a Fellow of the Faculty of Church Music of the Central School of Religion and has recently been given an honorary DMus degree by the National Conservatorio de Lima for his work in Choral Education.
From January 2001 to July 2009 Peter was Director of Music at St Martin's and St Paul's Churches, Canterbury. In consultation with Roger Fisher, in 2009 he was appointed Director of Music to St Peter's Collegiate Church, Ruthin, North Wales.
