Doctoral ceremonies 2011
During April 2011, ceremonies took place for visiting doctoral graduates of the joint
EAU - Oxford Centre for Leadership (OXCELL) program in Oxford and
London. The graduates from Malaysia and Indonesia enjoyed a full program
of events culminating in evening events in Oxford and afternoon tea
(amid unusually fine weather) at the Royal Over-Seas League in London.
EAU doctoral graduate and Honorary Professor Abdul Shariff Hamid, JMN, CEO of the Mara Education Foundation, launched his new book "I:Witness" during the ceremony. The book, which traces Prof. Hamid's humanitarian vision and analysis of Malaysia's developing role for business leaders, will be published in the South-East Asia region by European-American University Press.
