Campus-based programs
European-American University does not itself maintain a campus, instead functioning as a federal body co-ordinated from its offices in various locations and contracting with independent teaching colleges. The federal model of the university was pioneered by the University of London, UK, in the nineteenth-century and has since been adopted by other institutions. Teaching colleges validated by EAU, designated International Partners, offer campus-based programs in business, management and information technology as well as other areas by arrangement.

A major benefit to EAU's diversified, internet-based mode of operation is its benefits in terms of sustainability and the environment. Educational  institutions that are tied to a campus and substantial offices cannot help but exert a heavy toll on the planet, even when at their most efficient. By contrast, EAU has minimal environmental impact.

The University's diversification makes possible an unusual degree of individual customization in the way our programs are offered. We work closely with our partner campuses to ensure that what is offered is academically rigorous but also meets the needs of professionals and employers within that geographical area. Partners themselves have input into the kind of program they want to deliver, subject to University approval, without having a standardized curriculum imposed upon them. In this way, for example, the balance between thesis, project work, taught course assessment and formal examination is established so as best to benefit the students concerned and to enable them to demonstrate their abilities to best advantage. Wherever possible, these balances are capable of variation and individual student choice at the discretion of the partner institution. The curriculums and standards of partner institutions are subject to inspection by University officers.

Campus programs are recruited for by the partner institutions that run them, not centrally by the University. Accordingly, application for admission should be made direct to the institution concerned.

International Partners will normally accept the full transfer of credits earned in the course of study towards European-American University degrees at other International Partners. This allows students to transfer between institutions, and potentially even between different countries, thus creating an internationally-based program.

The University is actively seeking new partner institutions to offer programs leading to its degrees. If your institution is interested in this opportunity, please contact us to discuss your needs.

The HighGrade Professional Education Centre, Lagos, Nigeria
The HighGrade Professional Education Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, is an International Partner of EAU. In 2006, the Centre received the award for best academic leadership from the Christian Democratic Journalist Organisation.

The agreement between the Centre and EAU allows students of the Centre to study on programs leading to degree and diploma awards validated by EAU.

Authorized Agents
European-American University appoints Authorized Agents in various countries where representation is desired for the purposes of recruitment for its distance-learning programs. In respect of residential programs, agents are contracted directly by the International Partners concerned.

Students should be aware that any contractual relationship that they may enter into with a recruitment agent is separate from that which they may enter into with the University. In particular, the final decision as to admission to any program rests with the University and not with the agent.

Those agents who are interested in representing the University's distance-learning programs are invited to make contact with the University.
