Regulation 2 - The Seal of the University
I. The Executive Council
has custody and use of the Common Seal of the University and shall entrust the
Seal to custody of the President of the University.
II. Should the President of the University be absent or incapacitated for a period greater than one week, or depute accordingly in the event that such is desirable, the custody of the Seal shall be held by a Vice-President.
III. Every instrument to which the Seal shall be fixed shall be sealed by the President of the University, or such other person who in accordance with paragraph II has custody of the Seal.
IV. The Executive Council may determine arrangements for the sealing of any instrument different from those set out in paragraphs I and II above. Should the Executive Council so determine, it shall cause to have these arrangements incorporated into the Minutes of its meeting.
